Steel Window Design ship all our windows and doors Australia wide. Some fixed steel windows can be shipped pre-glazed meaning they arrive with the glass already fitted and a final caulk applied. Please be aware that this depends on your design and installation requirements. If you are in Victoria, we offer a full installation and glazing service on-site.
Recommended dimensions
Everything Steel Window Design manufacture and create is custom and one-of-a-kind. From our years’ of experience both in the factory and on building sites, we have come to know what sizes and designs work best for strength, practicality and longevity.
We therefore recommend dimensions for our steel windows and doors, however these are just a guide. If you have a design that falls outside of our recommendations, please chat to us.

Fixed steel windows can be customised with a variety of different glass types to suit your design and use.
Glazing is certified in accordance with the following Australian standards:
• AS/NZS 2208:1996 safety glazing materials in buildings
• AS/NZS 4666:2012 insulation glass units

Colour and treatment options
Our steel windows and doors are sandblasted and double powder coated. We are proud to use an accredited Dulux Powder Coater, providing a Dulux ‘Steel Shield Warranty’ and the full Dulux colour range.
Each window and door frame goes through a process of being baked, sandblasted, and has an application of 99% zinc rich primer and a coloured powder topcoat. For wet areas, an additional coloured powder topcoat is applied
